Winter Wonderland[]

I can’t even go on to describe how much I enjoy snow in BlueBell. I know, I know. A lot of people are all “terrible things happen when it snows! Remember the fire in the library?” And yes, the fire in the library was an awful thing. Thankfully no one was hurt and all that was lost was a bunch of James Patterson books (no offense). I’m sure if the biography section had been demolished I’d have a different outlook. But it wasn’t, so whatever. What I adore most about the snow is that it allows me to imagine what it must be like living in New York City. Walking down the busy urban street, bundled up in a peacoat, adorned with cute winter accessories, sipping a chai latte. Oh, you have no idea how much I long to one day wear cute winter accessories. I recently ordered a big, fluffy scarf (actually called a snood) online and wore it to school the day after I received it. People stared. Some laughed. One boy asked if I removed it would my head fall off. Of course, Zoe Hart absolutely loved it, of course. But really, if this were NYC, no one would have said a thing. One day I will live in Manhattan. And I cannot freaking wait to spend all my money on scarves and hats and gloves. Oh, and readings at the 92nd Street Y.
