Shula Whitaker was a long-time regular patient of Harley Wilkes.
After her mother died, Shula began frequenting the doctor's office with false symptoms, and Harley would typically engage her in conversation, ask about her cats, give her a tic-tac as a placebo and send her on her way. After Harley's passing, Dr. Zoe Hart would regard his treatment method as only enabling Shula's behavior and recommended Shula seek psychiatric help. Later, she read through Harley's file on Shula and noted the connection between her mother's death and her sporadic 'symptoms' and apologized to Shula.
