Harold Tucker, is a former resident of Bluebell, Alabama. He and his wife, Clora Tucker, moved to Montgomery, Alabama where they both currently reside, and where they both seem to have firmly left behind the traditions and love for small town living. In Montgomery, Harold works at a large law firm.
Harold is married to Clora Tucker, and together they have two children:
- Harry Tucker, who worked alongside his father at a law firm in Montgomery until he decided to run for state legislature.
- George Tucker, who feels his father doesn't respect him as a lawyer, and suspects his father's efforts to recruit him to his Montgomery firm arise out of a desire to retain voting majority with his partners. Indeed, Harold does find George "occasionally too soft-hearted for his own good" (The Pirate & The Practice) and looks down on George's involvement with things at his own firm like real estate deals or answering phones, insisting that's work for a paralegal or a secretary (The Pirate & The Practice).
Emily Chase has been indicated as a cousin.
- Evident in In Havoc & In Heat, Harold is a big fan of bourbon and football.
