The old Hooper House is an uninhabited house found in Bluebell, Alabama, where children are warned not to play and teenagers often sneak away with their dates (as Wade Kinsella notes he used to do in Parades and Pariahs). Also in Parades and Pariahs, Zoe Hart is bitten by a copperhead snake while she and Wade are trying to research a patient's snake bite.
